About the Role
Assemble, configure, and test servers and workstations as per technical specifications.
Install and maintain hardware components including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, storage devices, and network cards.
Perform server troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and hardware replacement as required.
Maintain hardware inventory and ensure proper documentation of builds and configurations.
Collaborate with the Network and System Admin teams for deployment and integration of servers.
Handle RAID configurations, firmware updates, and BIOS settings.
Ensure all assembled servers meet performance and quality standards.
Provide support for hardware-level issues in data center or office environments.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the hardware lab and ensure ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions are followed.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of server assembling, hardware components, and peripherals.
Hands-on experience with Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Supermicro servers (preferred).
Understanding of RAID configurations, BIOS/UEFI setup, and hardware diagnostics tools.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, switches, cables).
Familiarity with Windows/Linux server installation will be an added advantage.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
